CENIT research activities are mostly aimed at analyzing the structural changes of the international economy and, particularly, the Argentine case and the main aspects of Argentina´s integration into the new globalized world.

Within this general framework, CENIT undertakes studies on the following areas:

Regionalization and Globalization, particularly the MERCOSUR case.
The productive, technological and environmental management strategies of Argentine  companies.
National Innovation Systems and technology policies.
The role of new technologies: software, informatics and biotechnology.
Crisis in emergent countries: the special features of the Argentine case.
Environment and sustainable development.
Foreign Policy.


With the purpose of carring out its research activities, CENIT has a specialized library and has closed links with researchers specialized in the above-mentioned areas both in Argentina and abroad.

 

The President of the CENIT Foundation is Carlos Bruno, former Ambassador and Secretary of International Economic Relations of the Argentine.Actualmente es director de YPF SA

The Director of the CENIT Foundation is Andrés López, Doctor in Economics  Sciences (University of Buenos Aires); He is also a professor at the University of Buenos Aires and at the University of San Andrés.
