He graduated as an Architect at the University of Buenos Aires
and then, during his residence in Brazil, he took studies on
Economic International Relations and Foreign Trade.
He returned to Argentina as advisor to United Nations and
took part in President Alfonsín’s Government as
Sub-Secretary of Economic Integration and, afterwards, as
Secretary of Economic International Relations. During that
period of time, he was appointed as Ambassador Art. V, with
the accordance of the Senate.
During his time at the Foreign Office, he participated in
the design and creation of the Center for International
Economics and, after leaving Government, he created the
CENIT Foundation together with Daniel Chudnovsky. He is
still the President of the Foundation.
In his professional activity, he works as Business
Consultant and he is specialized in the design of investment
projects in Argentina, Chile and Brazil.Actualmente

Andrés López

He is a graduate in Economics and Doctor in Economic
Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires.
At present, he is director at the Centro de
Investigaciones para la Transformación (CENIT), where
he has been working since 1991. He has been consultant
of various international institutions, such as ECLAC,
UNCTAD, IADB, INTAL, IDRC, WIPO, JICA y UNPD.
He is also Associate Professor at the University of
Buenos Aires, where he teaches courses in
undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Furthermore, he is Professor at the University of San
Andrés.Actualmente
